Megan Horak du Preez has spent more than two decades building businesses, training professionals, and solving real problems with technology — long before AI became the buzzword it is today.
Her career began early. By the age of 21 she was already delivering professional technology training to corporate teams, including work with the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS). She went on to lecture Java programming and technical subjects — building a reputation for one specific skill that defines everything she does today: taking complicated things and making them simple.
Over the past two-plus decades her experience expanded into entrepreneurship, leadership, branding, event strategy, and business growth. She has built and managed multiple ventures, which means she understands — from the inside — the pressures business owners face every single day. Time. Money. Competition. The feeling of falling behind.
That last feeling is exactly why SheAI Workshop exists.
When Megan discovered AI tools and began using them daily across her own businesses, she realised two things simultaneously: this changes everything — and nobody is teaching it the way business owners actually need to hear it.
So she built the platform she wished had existed when she needed it most.
